Matthew 11:28-29 (New International Version)

28"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

Oh, how I wish I could figure out how to take hold of this. I am so very weary. This is not a physical exhaustion rather my very soul is exhausted. And yet God has been good.

This week a good friend came to see me. She and her husband have been having problems, she shared her struggles with me. I feel so inadequate with words...

Oh, Lord, protect my sons. Protect them, from Satan's enticements. I feel so inadequate in wisdom...

One of my employees has been consistently resentful towards me. I don't know how to deal with this as I hate conflict in any form. I feel so inadequate in strength...

It is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord... Come to me... and I will give you rest.
Oh Lord, here I am, hear my prayer. Please give me good words, wisdom and strength. Oh Lord, please give me rest, I don't ask that you remove the burden just that you give me the strength to bear it well.

I trust the days, weeks, months of waiting quietly have brought about the awaited 'salvation'.
If you would, Sharon, pray for our family, for a Christmas miracle. An insidious atack of the enemy has resulted in two families not being comfortable together.
Christmas family gathering has always been the best part...
